About Us
Mobile Labs One is a privately owned small business located in Somerset County, New Jersey. We provide In Home laboratory services to all residents throughout Central New Jersey with a focus on Somerset and Morris Counties.
We have over 35 years of medical laboratory experience in all facets of the laboratory including ownership. We know that the very first step to laboratory testing is the patient sample. We understand the importance of collecting the sample from the patient and delivering it to the lab for testing in a timely fashion.
Services
In Home Lab Service
We will come to your home at your convenience to collect your lab samples. Simply fill out the form online and schedule an appointment with us. Be sure to be fasting if your doctor has instructed you to do so. We will take care of all the paperwork ahead of time before we arrive. You will need to have your lab work prescription from your doctor as well as your health insurance card and a form of payment for our service. Our partner labs accept all insurances including Medicare, Medicaid and all private carriers. They also accept multiple forms of payment for any patients without health insurance.
Laboratory Specimens We Collect
We will collect/obtain any blood, urine and sputum samples needed for your laboratory testing. We also offer DNA Genetic Testing as well as Covid-19 testing both done by swab. We will collect any and all types of Specialty kit testing. If you have any type of testing needed that is not listed here, please contact us and we will happily assist you in obtaining the necessary samples to be tested.
Laboratories We Work With
We partner with several local laboratories in the area which are all full service exceptional medical laboratories. They accept most insurances and provide 48 hr. results in most cases. These laboratories are Oxford Laboratories, Quality Laboratories and LabCorp (only as needed). We also work with SureGx Pharmacogenetics and ALL other specialty laboratories that provide you with kits for certain tests that need to be drawn, processed, packaged and shipped to those specialty testing labs.
Oxford and Quality Labs accept most insurances and if your insurance has an exclusivity to Labcorp only, we will send the specimen there. We will collect, process and deliver the samples to the local labs personally and your doctor will receive your results directly from the lab within 48 hours unless otherwise noted. You can obtain a copy of your results from your doctor as we do not do any testing of the samples provided and do not receive a copy of your results. We can however, act as a liaison between the laboratory and the patient or doctor
Billing
Your laboratory testing will be billed to the insurance company information you provide to us. We will need a copy of the insurance card and a copy of your valid ID along with the prescription from your doctor. The lab will perform the testing and bill your insurance company directly. You may be billed directly from the laboratory for any co-insurance you are responsible for based on your insurance plan. You should receive an Explanation of Benefits(EOB) from your insurance provider explaining the details of your claim submitted. You WILL NOT be billed for any other amounts other than those you would normally pay such as co-insurance if applicable. If you do not have health insurance or your deductible is very high, we can provide you with a patient fee schedule from the laboratory which has very affordable reduced prices for your testing. These test fees must be paid at the time of service and may be paid in cash, check or credit card.
Our Service Fee is a flat rate of $60 which includes the visit to your home, collecting the samples, processing the samples, completing necessary paperwork/data entry and packaging and delivering samples to the appropriate lab. This fee is due at time of service and can be paid by cash, check, credit card, Venmo, Paypal or Zelle. This fee cannot be billed to your insurance company and must be paid at the time of service.
